Photographic Prints

What type of paper do you use for the prints?
All prints are produced on the highest quality paper including Fuji standard crystal archive for glossy prints and Fuji DP Professional paper for Lustre.
Should I choose Gloss, Lustre or Giclee?

If your print is to be framed, I would recommend the Lustre finish as it reduces the risk of glare and reflections.

See below the description of Giclee print

What is a Giclee print?

Simply put, a giclee is a fine art print created by using a specialised high resolution inkjet printer. Giclee is an art print and stands apart with extremely high level of quality, longevity and value compared to standard print. A variety of fine art papers are used to make the most of any image

Do you offer a framing service for photographic prints?

Not at the moment, but we are currently looking into offering a framing service for our pictures.

Canvas Prints

What is the difference between a Framed, a Hand Stretched and a Rolled canvas?

A Framed canvas is tension stretched (using tenon joint wedge keys) over a frame made of 38mm (1.5") FSC rated pine stretcher bars and arrives ready to hang. It also has a “floating” frame around it.

A Hand Stretched canvas is like the framed canvas but without the “floating frame”.

If you would prefer to frame the canvas yourself, our rolled option is best for this. There is an 2 inch blank border around the canvas. Each Rolled canvas is supplied in a protective tube.

What grade of canvas will the picture be printed on?
Each canvas is printed on high quality 390gsm Glazed Polycotton canvas using EPSON Ultrachrome HD inks. The glazing ensures long lasting UV protection.
What is mirror wrapped canvas?
Mirror wrap canvas prints are created by wrapping the nearest part of the picture over the sides, creating a reflection-like appearance on the canvas edges. As the name implies, the outer edges of the canvas mirror the corresponding area of the image.
